  • General Chairperson: Toni Brown
I have lived in Port almost my entire life, and have been serving on the Fish Day Committee since 2010. Starting with Arts and Crafts, moving to Stands Chair, and now President. When I’m not working or volunteering, I like to spend time reading, watching movies, and having fun with friends and family. I look forward to bringing Port Fish Day into the future!
  • Vice Chairperson: Jim Benson
This is my 10th year as Entertainment director. My goal is to always provide a fun and entertaining day for all involved. Remembering my care for all we help, while I exercise my fiduciary responsibility to the community and to the state.
  • Treasurer: Chris King
Born and raised in Port, I grew up with Fish Day.  As a kid I remember marching in the parade or watching from my grandparents downtown window. About 20 years ago I was asked to help with the organization and planning of the event. It continues to be an enjoyable experience that makes me proud to call Port home. Outside of Fish Day,  I currently work for Port Washington State Bank.  In my spare time I like traveling, golfing, and spending time with my two daughters, family and friends.
  • Secretary: Monica Stiebs
I have lived in Port Washington for about 15 years. My first memory of Fish Day is from High School when I was in marching band. We came up from South Milwaukee to march in the Parade. I have been on the committee since 2018.  Outside of Fish Day, I work for Acuity Insurance. In my spare time I like to fish, watch movies, and spend time with my husband and our 3 kids.

I have been a member of Port Fish Day since 2019. I have lived in Port since 2013, and my wife has lived here her entire life. We just bought our first home in Port Washington. As a professional DJ, since 2000, I am also a judge for the annual Battle of the Bands.
  • First Aid/EMS: Monica Stiebs

  • Fish Day Run: Marlene Morgan
I have lived in Port Washington with my husband, Terry, for the past 42 years.  I have been involved with the Fish Day Run/Walk for 36 years, which is the major annual fundraiser for Portal, inc. a nonprofit agency serving transitioning high school youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Portal is very grateful for the partnership we have with Port Fish Day and their commitment in providing an opportunity for Portal to raise funds to support our mission.
  • GroundsWesley Manderscheid
I began volunteering with Port Fish Day when I was just 7 years old, helping my dad on the grounds.  In 2018 my dad ‘retired’ from Port Fish Day Grounds and I became the new Grounds Chair.  In 2019 my wife Meghan and our two dogs Archer and Barry relocated back to my hometown of Port Washington to raise our family and later that year our son Raymond was born.  We look forward to raising our family in Port Washington.  We enjoy taking walks along the lake front, playing in Possibility Playground, shopping at the Farmer’s Market, and all of the other activities that are available to us here.  I look forward to helping continue the tradition of Port Fish Day and support the civic organizations in the area.
  • Information Booth: Sarah Maechtle
I have been volunteering with Fish Day since I was a little kid. A few years ago, I decided to officially join the committee to continue helping with such an amazing event that helps the community. I am excited to see the fresh  ideas we have brainstormed come to life next year at Fish Day! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, family and friends.

  • Parade: Nathan Sherper
In the summer of 2018, while working to open up a third store location for my business (Sherper’s), I took a day off from building store shelves to experience my first ever Fish Day.  I was amazed at what a great event it was for a small community to pull off, and knew I wanted to help support the event in one way or another.  A few weeks later, I became the Parade Chairman.  Outside of marching bands and Shriner cars, I love spending time outside with my wife and two dogs and taking my fantasy football team way too seriously.
  • Police Dept/Security: Capt. Mike Davel
  • Shuttle Bus: Bruce Manderscheid
Became active in Port Fish Day in 1997 as the Grounds Chair, added Shuttle Bus Chair several years later.
I have always believed that it is important to myself and my family to be involved and engaged in the community that we live in.  Our community only gets better because of the people who are willing to share a little bit of themselves to make the community stronger, a great place to raise our families, and a great place to live.  All of our civic organizations do great work, so instead of volunteering for one of those organizations, as a family we made the decision to volunteer with Port Fish Day to help multiple civic organizations – in addition to the great feeling you get after the completion of a great Port Fish Day!
