Port Fish Day 2003 - T-shirt Design Contest

FISH DAY T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

Portal Industries and Port Fish Day are once again holding a contest for the 2003 T-shirt design. All area students of high school and middle school age are invited to submit artwork.

The winning design will be used on the T-shirts and promotional materials for the Fish Day Run/Walk that benefits Portal Industries, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) community rehabilitation program, in Grafton, as well as the Port Fish Day Festival. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The individual submitting the winning design will also serve as the Junior Parade Marshall for Fish Day, which will be held on Saturday, July 19 in Port Washington. All other students submitting a design will receive an honorable mention certificate.

Specifications for the 2003 T-shirt Design Contest are as follows:

1. All artwork submitted is to be original. No manufactured clip art allowed.
2. Live matter area on front of T-shirt is 11" x 11".
3. Front of T-shirt - silk screened in 2 or more colors; a maximum of 4 colors
     (Note: Black is considered a color). Ink colors are to be specified. Final
     choice of ink colors will be left up to the selection committee and person silk
     screening T-shirts.
4. Items to be included on front side:
      a. Name of event - FISH DAY
      b. Theme - When You Fish Upon A Star
      c. Date of event - July 19, 2023
      d. Location of event - Port Washington, WI
      e. Subtitle of event - 8K Run and 2 Mile Fun-Walk/Run (will be used for
          run/walk T-shirt only)
          "World's Largest One Day Outdoor Fish Fry" (Port Fish Day T-shirt)
     f. Beneficiary - To benefit Portal Industries, Inc. (will be used for run/walk
         T-shirt only)

All entries are due by Friday, March 21, 2023 and are to be mailed to Portal Industries, Inc., P.O. Box 65, Grafton, WI 53024-0065. Designs can also be dropped off at Portal Industries during business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.) at 420 10th Avenue, Grafton.
